Muriel Wheldale Onslow (1880–1932) was a British biochemist and botanist. In this book, which was first published in 1925 as the second edition of 1916 original, Onslow presents a discussion of various scientific investigations regarding the properties of plant anthocyanin pigments. The text analyses the subject along botanical, chemical and genetic lines. Explanatory notes and a detailed bibliography are also included. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in plant biochemistry and the history of science.
