Originally published in 1911 for use in schools, this book contains the Revised Version text of the Book of Joshua with critical annotations by the Revered P. J. Boyer, then vicar of Rothersthorpe in Northampton. Boyer's introduction supplies a history of the book and the story of the land that the Israelites, led by Joshua, come to inhabit. This volume will be of value to anyone with an interest in the Hebrew Bible or the history of education.
