Originally published in 1935, this book contains the Hebrew text, Roman transliteration and English translation of the medieval Spanish poem 'Coplas de Yoçef', which re-tells the biblical story of Joseph. The text is taken from a fifteenth-century manuscript in the collection of the Cambridge University Library, and is edited with critical commentary and notes by the celebrated Judaeo-Spanish scholar Ignacio González Llubera. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in medieval Jewish poetry and the literature of Jewish Spain.
